Michael Campbell was appointed Deputy Director of Energy at the Public Advocates Office in January 2025, after serving as Assistant Deputy Director since January 2024.

Mike has been working on energy policy in California since 2000.  In 2012, he joined the Office as the Program Manager of the Electricity Pricing and Customer Programs branch at the Public Advocates Office at the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).  Prior to joining Cal Advocates, he worked for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and at the CPUC (where he was an analyst in the Energy Division and policy advisor to a Commissioner).
