Overview
The Public Advocates Office represents utility customer interests before the California Public Utilities Commission and other forums. California retail electric rates regularly change due to many factors. We regularly track them and develop recommendations to minimize ratepayer cost burdens. This report summarizes recent residential electric rate changes across Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), and Southern California Edison (SCE) service territories from July to September 2023.
